GENERAL INFORMATION

We at Holy Public school believe that the society and educational institutions are inextricably
bound together and therefore there is an urgent need of co-ordination between th school and the
parents frequent meetings between parents and the working bodies of the school is the first step
towards knowing more about the institution which has been entrusted with the task of shaping up
of your Childs future.

SESSION

Academic session would commence from month of April and would end in the month of march of the subsequent year.
There will be summer vacation from the mid of may till the end of June and a short winter break
in the month of December /January.

BOOK & STATIONERY:

Prescribed books and articles of stationery would be available in the school book shop which would remain open on scheduled days during school hours.
for the purpose of uniformity it would be desirable that the students buy exercise books of standard design bearing school logo from the book shop.

SCHOOL UNIFORM

School uniform is compulsory for all student disciplinary action would be taken on non compliance of this rule .
Parents should ensure that their ward report to the school aesthetically dressed in the uniform of the school as per the pattern on specified days.

I, II, & III : Half Pant (Steel Grey) Sky Blue Shirt (with school monogram), School Tie/Belt, Sky

IV TO XII :Full Pant (Steel Grey) Sky Blue Shirt (With school monogram), School Tie/Belt, Sky
Blue Socks, Black Shoes.

GIRLS
NURSERY, LKG, UKG: Tunic Sky Blue Shirt (With school monogram), School Tie Sky Blue Shoes.

I, II & III :Tunic Frock, sky Blue Shirt (with School monogram) School Tie /Belt, Sky Blue Socks, Black Shoes.

GIRLS- Grey Plated Skirt Navy Blue Coat and V-Necked Pullover


P.T. UNIFORM FOR ALL CLASSES

NOTE The tie, belt and Badge to be used should be purchased from the school
The Uniform must be neat and tidy shoes well polished. Sports uniform will be provided from school.

SUMMERS
Pre Primary -    8am to 12 noon
Others -            7.30Am to 1.30PM
 

WINTER
Pre Primary -      9Am to 1pm
Other -                8AM to 2 PM


SCHOOL TRANSPORT:

Contract buses arranged by the school would ply on fixed routes for pick-up and dropping the students.

Student can avail the facility of transport on payment of the prescribed fee.


ATTENDANCE

80% attendance is the common norm to be followed.

Absence due to unavoidable reasons can be entertained only if a formal leave application is submitted prior to the child proceeding on leave and in the case of illness a medical certificate along with the prescription of the doctor is submitted after the child reports back to the school.

TEST AND EXAMINATION

HPS has a history of unique child centric approach to education meticulously planned to empower the children with open mindedness lifelong learning habits and positive self esteem. in an environment of continuous monitoring of child development we don t feel the need to conduct any formal examination till Class V.

For building a slid foundation to allow the young minds to continuously and effortlessly grow and develop we have a system of judging a child development on the basis of his/his performance in the class on a weekly basis.

However Class VI on wards there would be a system of assessment through unit tests and terminal examination. To ensure continuous assessment, proportionate weight age will be carried forward for the final assessment.
